An award-winning photographer, lecturer, animator, sometimes writer and obsessed traveller, Paul A. Teolis embarked on a successful career working in special effects animation in 1987 on features films and commercials for such notable studios as Disney Paris, The Animation House, Bearspots, and The National Film Board of Canada. With more than 100 commercials, several independent films and TV series to his credit, his experience has covered most areas within animation production.
Relocating to Los Angeles, California in 1995, he joined the staff of DreamWorks SKG, founded by Steven Spielberg, Jefferey Katzenberg and David Geffen. There he was both a sequence supervisor and special effects animator on the studio's first two animation releases, The Prince of Egypt and The Road to Eldorado.
A parallel career in photography, along with a passion for travel, has taken Paul on a journey through nearly 40 countries on six continents, amassing a large body of photographic work and travel stories.
He continues to work on a variety of independent projects to develop creative properties that are animated, literary and photographic in nature.
